چکیده
Several drugs have sparked interest as potential COVID-19 treatment options. Doxycycline (DOX) has been widely used with other agents to reduce COVID-19-induced inflammation. DOX and OFLX, both well-known antimicrobial anti-inflammatory drugs, were chosen model pollutants. Fe, Cu-codoped TiO2-SiO2 was synthesised a novel photocatalyst active under sunlight irradiation treat The catalyst samples meticulously characterised using various techniques evaluate their morphological, optical, structural properties. results of BET analysis showed that the TSFC1 sample large specific surface area 288 m2g-1. Maximum degradation OFLX (about 98%) achieved catalyst. photocatalytic reusability investigated for up seven successive cycles, composite particles maintained high photodegradation activity OFLX. TFSC1 composite, in particular, demonstrated catalytic well excellent recovery potential, its combination solar light, silica, dopants can be introduced promising strategy efficiently destroying antibiotics. This study highlights feasibility hybridising doped dual semiconductor nanostructures implementing light-powered pharmaceutical wastewater degradation.
